11 Months and Counting Down

It's my eleventh month, and my mouth is currently decorated on the top and bottom with eight pearly whites. With my new set of chompers, I am chewing nice, big, chunky bits of assorted fruit, vegetables and meats. I am feeding myself with my fingers and also learning to use a spoon.

This month, I have mastered the fine arts of clapping, waving "hello" and "good-bye," rocking in my glider, hammering, putting a basketball in a net, emptying containers and (sometimes) filling them back up again, and playing "peek-a-boo" and hide and seek. I am currently cruising and walking well while holding onto Mommy's or Daddy's baby fingers. I love to run (while holding onto Mommy's or Daddy's little fingers). I also enjoy dancing in Mommy's arms, spinning in circles, and being thrown up into the air.

I love playing with Mephisto and often chase him around the room. I also like to squeeze his squishy face. I have fun smacking and scratching other people's faces too, although I mean no harm. I really enjoy playing with my baby friends, but often I just do my own thing. As of late, I've become a little more interested in playing with them instead of along side of them.

I am looking forward to many more achievements over the next month - before I turn ONE!
